Conceptualized by TWBA India, the campaign will be going live on 1st September 2011, and will feature its Brand ambassadors - Suniel Shetty and Virat Kohli. The concept of the campaign lies in ‘You are what you wear.’   The commercial portrays shorts stories of two men – Suniel Shetty and Virat Kohli – who discover how to turn a ‘no’ into a ‘yes’ with Sangam. Wearing Sangam makes people look at them in awe, appreciation and respect. Coupled with the irrepressible and mischievous personalities of Suniel Shetty and Virat Kohli, Sangam shows the world how respect is just one suit away!
 
Commenting on its new TVC and business plans Mr V K Sodani, Executive Director said, “We launched the new campaign keeping in mind our latest collections. This festive season, we wanted to give our customers something that they have been looking for – to look like ‘someone’ they are and truly believe in themselves. We’re positive that people across the country will relate to the message and that the new collections will receive a positive response.”
 
Sangam launched their latest collection Naturals & Glaciers keeping in mind their aggressive expansion plans. Naturals is a special wrinkle-free product while Glaciers has anti-microbial qualities ingrained into the product offering. Mr Sodani also added, “During the fiscal, Sangam plans to expand its collection and strategic alliances. We plan to roll-out stain release and non-iron fabric collections.”

At Sangam, the suitings forms part of its finished / woven fabric business.  Sangam's total synthetic woven fabrics production currently stands at 20.5 mn metres. The woven fabrics business accounts for nearly 18 per cent of the total revenues. Sangam's leadership in woven fabrics is on account of its colours, blends, textures and finishes. The company manufactures woven fabrics which are mainly used for suits and trousers. The company’s strength to offer a vast product range stems from its ability to blend various yarns to ensure the right texture, style and above all, the right value-for-money products to its customers.
