Raipur Power and Steel Limited is an integrated steel manufacturing company founded in the year 2007 in the Steel City of India, Bhilai. The company embarked its journey starting with a single SI production unit and since then it has now come up a long way.  Sponge iron manufacturing capacity has scaled up to 3×100 TPD rotatory DRI Kilns and the company has completed strategic vision – building upstream and downstream integration. The raw material required for the manufacturing is sourced from nearby mines after crushing and benefication from 0.3 MTPA benefication units. RPSL manufactures pellets from iron ore fines from 0.3 MTPA Travel Grate pellet plant that ensures a robust operational performance. 3 of our 100 TPD rotatory Kilns process these pellets into Sponge Pellets and it is then put to Induction Furnace or the Arc Furnace based on requirement. The steel making at RPSL is powered by its 12 MW captive power plant. Induction furnace processes the sponge into billets and with the reheating unit attached, RPLS rolls these billet upstream with robust energy saving efficiency, the result is Steel Long with competitive quality and price. Alternatively, the sponge is fed to 2 x 9 MVA Arc furnaces for metallisation and the end product is Pig iron, ready for sale. The Arc furnaces also use in making Silico Manganese.
