As the winners of Student Brand Manager 2011, they will get an opportunity to be part of Nissan India's marketing division for a first-hand-on-the-job experience with the global automobile company. The announcement of the Nissan Student brand Manager culminates a two-month long strategic engagement of Hover Automotive India and Bloomberg UTV. Launched across 150 Management Institutes, the Nissan Student Brand Manager initiative received hundreds of innovative marketing ideas for the Nissan brand. The selection of the final winners was a thoroughly researched & progressive effort through discussions, interactions and questioning by jury members on the submissions made by the finalists. The jury comprised of eminent professionals like Pralhad Kakkar, CEO, Genesis Films, Bobby Pawar Chief Creative Officer Mudra Group, Harish Bijoor, CEO, Harish Bijoor Consults, Hormazd Sorabjee, Editor, Autocar India, Mini Menon, Executive Editor, BloombergUTV besides Mr. VG Ramakrishnan - Head, Automotive Sector (Frost & Sullivan) and a Nissan Management Official. The selected students from the zonal rounds were judged based on the uniqueness of their ideas, relevance to the automobile industry, clarity of communication, innovative thinking and feasibility while executing these ideas. Bloomberg UTV roped in Frost & Sullivan as the knowledge partner in this initiative for the validation and selection process.
